SCHOOLS

South African school pupils are reading Olive Schreiner's "The Story of an African Farm" as a setwork book. When the movie was screened in South Africa in 2004, schools from around the country made block bookings to see the movie and have their setwork book brought to life.

AFRICAN FARM OUTREACH PROGRAMME

We sent over a 1,000 South Africa children to see their first film ever...

Story of An African Farm opened to critical acclaim in Cannes 2004 and is a classic tale of children overcoming obstacles to not only survive the situations they find themselves in, but to reach their own dreams as well... It is a story of hope and perseverance and what this can achieve. It will show children the power of books and education, that dreams can come true if you don't give up and may inspire children to want to become film makers, inventors, readers....
The film succeeds in illustrating this in beautiful detail and is a must-see for all young South Africans - a global tale told in a local setting.
